Private Sauna
Our Private Sauna sessions are geared towards special celebrations, couples, or small groups who prefer to make the sauna experience their own! Private Sauna guests tend to bring food and drinks, bluetooth speakers, and specialty sauna products such as brooms/ whisks/ vihtas to have their own curated sauna party. This is the session type for those that are looking to celebrate with friends and family and enjoy quality time and conversation over the water.
Private Sauna Sessions have also become a big hit with corporate team building events, company wellness retreats, and after-hour company socials. Relationships are built through shared experiences and it’s always fun to see team members share our hot room as a forum for exciting new ideas, business solutions and genuine team connections.
Experiencing the natural extremes of full heat and our Lake Washington cold plunge lends itself well to engaging conversation, which we know is the perfect dynamic to connect more genuinely with the people in your life.
What is a Private Sauna?
The Thermal Cycle
Between rounds in the heat, take a plunge into Lake Washington then rest and rehydrate on the pier. Guests will find that the cool down is the best part of the cycle. Let your body reset, feel the endorphins surge, and lean into the peace before you begin your next round.
Water, breath, and conversation flow easily between cycles and each session leaves you lighter, clearer, and more connected — to yourself, the water, and the people beside you.
Hot. Cold. Rest. Rehydrate. Repeat.
Duration: Our Private Sauna sessions are 2.5 hours long, which gives you ample time to cycle in between the sauna heat and the cold water as many times as you please and to truly sink in to the pleasures of hot and cold therapy with your private group.
Price: $700 during peak hours and $550 during off-peak hours.
Capacity: Private Sauna Sessions have a capacity of 10 people.
Daily Time Slots: 7AM, 8:30AM, 10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM, 2:30PM, 4PM, 5:30PM

Ages: Private sauna sessions are great for the whole family. Children are welcome in this format as long as they are accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed on their behalf.

Book a “Private Sauna” experience on our website by clicking here or by clicking the “Book Now” button and choose your date and time.
Check your email confirmation and make sure to sign one waiver for each attending memberof your group before attending.
Wear your bathing suit under your clothes for quick changing upon arrival.
Upon arrival, check in at the Von Sauna Kiosk where the sauna master will check your waiver status and guide you to the floating sauna.
**Please remember to arrive 5 minutes early and depart on time as the sauna master will have limited time to clean the sauna and welcome the next group.

What to Pack
2 Towels - One to sit on inside the sauna and another to dry off at the end of your session
1 Bathing Suit (ideally worn upon arrival as the sauna's changing room is tight)
1 Refillable Water Bottle (filtered drinking water provided onsite)
Water shoes for walking along the pier (optional)
Cancellations for private sauna sessions must be made 168 hours in advance and cancellations for social sauna sessions must be made 72 hours in advance.
Cancellations will result in a refund to a gift card and can be processed by visiting the options on your existing booking link. No cash refunds will be provided.
If you can’t make your session and are within the restricted period, feel free to give your ticket to friends/ family to attend in your place.
Reschedules for private sauna sessions must be made 168 hours in advance of your booking and reschedules for social sauna sessions must be made 72 hours in advance.
